 Episode 4 - The Tunnels of Terror

GAME REPORT

 played on 22nd January 2009

tHE LONG RANGE AMERICAN BOMBERS HAVE DESTROYED THE MAIN CASTLE BUILDING and scattered the guards our heroes find the entry staircase and descend....

The feared "She Wolves" had been deployed to guard the Tunnels, but Brunnhilda and her mooks are quickly dispatched by a hail of bullets  from the heavily armed SOFA agents.

Roger and Lt Frazer force through

More guards arrive Firefight

More guards rush to repel the invaders, but our heroes meet them with a wall of lead! Then after a deadly hush ...an electronic hum and a click and out of the corridor stumbles a zombie!

Sgt Grant fells it with a headshot! More Zeds are released from the lockers! Roger bars the locker doors!

More zombies are released remotely from the corridor lockers, many bullets later the area is cleared and Roger Roughshod rushes to jam the doors to prevent any further attacks!

Then behind them a terrible rumbling and crash signals that the weakened tunnel roof has collapsed......

Trapped! The Master Control Room The Generator Room

Our heroes rush the Master Control room as the scientists retreat. Then they trigger a trip-wire. 'Q' looks at the console and figures out the control mechanisms...

Muldoon gets savaged by a Werewolf Clobberin' time! 'Q' inspects the Master console

The Nazis activate the secondary console, over-riding the Master Deck, releasing zombies behind our heroes, closing doors to trap them!

Secondary Console Zombies! Shut the door! Nazis in the Occult Library

There follows an electronic duel between 'Q' and the Scientist to control the doors, eventually 'Q' hits the over-ride switch and allows the heroes to attack the library.

Sgt Grant rushes Ilsa the She Wolf Subdues her... Knockout gas deals with Herr Frage and Freya another She Wolf!

Lead by Sgt. Grant, the library is stormed, the Infamous Herr Frage and his She Wolves are over-come by knockout gas! The scientist succeeds in remotely shutting the door saving Herr Frage and trapping the heroes in the library....what's that chanting?

Summoning Room Harker faces the Demon The console explodes

Harker reads the book on the lectern and realises the chanting is related to the summoning of a Demon!, In a frantic phase of action Q gets control of the doors and seals the demon, opening the way to attack the secondary console! Roger blows it up with explosive rounds!

Meanwhile Harker sets a 'sacred seal' on the door to hold back the Demon with the aid of a vial of blood from the globe 'drinks cabinet'.

The sacred seal holds the Demon back, but the cultists rush through in a suicidal charge... Then the seal bursts and the Demon is unleashed! The retreating heroes throw everything at it, to no avail,...then they target the generator.... A massive explosion brings the roof down burying the monster!

The fleeing Nazi Scientists jam the exit door and the heroes have to hand crank it open, Roger shooting through the gap, laying low the goons beyond. Carrying the protesting 'Q' who is grabbing papers and documents as they go, the heroes climb the ladder and sprint across the landing pad to the rescue helicopter, as they take of they see the hanger doors opening....

By the skin of their teeth our heroes escape and are flown over the border into neutral Switzerland. From there the secret 'underground railroad' spirits them back to H.Q.

Shaken by all they have seen but laden with secret files and potions liberated from the shattered Sonderbuero, the Doomsday Clock is set back to 11.30pm

At Last we see the way forward to an Invasion of Europe
