Episode 2 - The Battle of Britain

23rd October 1940

Secret Jet Fighter

  Gentlemen, welcome to your Second Mission.

Following the great success in rescuing the lucky Alastair Windsor, 2nd Duke of Connaught and Strathearn the attack on the Manor house brought out several scientists who were meeting with a top German Operative. In the confusion he escaped but his briefcase was discovered with top secret plans inside! 

The Scientists had been captured from eastern Europe and were happy to co-operate with us.

It appears the Germans have been working on a secret Jet propelled engine and are fitting it to a prototype to test out as an Air Superiority Fighter. The Scientists, now put to work for us, have given us the location of the experimental fighter base.

Adolf Hitler has been stung by your success and has decreed that any agent captured in Europe will be summarily executed!

He has also declared that the Invasion of Britain will follow as soon as the war for Air-Superiority has been won. This prototype may win that war for the enemy.

We now know  this organisation is the Secret Projects wing of the Nazi War Machine. Their role is to develop new and more terrible weapons to conquer Great Britain

You will be parachuted into enemy occupied Romania. The local resistance will meet with you and guide you to the secret developmental airstrip and hanger. It will be heavily guarded and we have put together some experimental equipment to aid you in your mission.

Once there you must sabotage the prototype fighter, steal any secret plans you can find and escape. Failure to do so will put our air Force at supreme risk

The Resistance have made contact with a German Officer who wishes to defect.

Herr Baron von Luegner. 

     

He is a pilot and will be flying a top-ranking Nazi officer into the airstrip on the 23rd October 1940.

This is rumoured to be the infamous Herr Frage of the SS and reputed to be a member of the Thule Society.

   

 You are to make contact with Von Luegner and he will fly you out of Romania in his JU-52 across the Mediterranean to our base in Tripoli and from thence you will return by RAF transport.
